Aussie Hoops

We are excited to continue with Ford Aussie Hoops as part of our Development Program offerings for 2025. (This program has replaced our School of Hoops Program)

 

Our Aussie Hoops program is aimed at 6 - 10 year olds. Participants will develop basketball skills in a fun, games centred environment with coaches who have undertaken the Ford Aussie Hoops Coach accreditation. Aussie Hoops is the first step in the Vikings pathway with participants given the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to transition into our domestic competitions.

The 8 week program will commence as follows:

• Tuesdays - 22nd July
• Wednesday - 23rd July
• Friday - 25th July

Cost: $100 for the term + $4.50 & $5.00 Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia fees.

 

Where: Slater Reserve Stadium, Grosvenor Street, Blackburn North

 

What to Wear: All new Aussie Hoops participants will be required to purchase a Participant Starter Pack for $50. You will receive an email from Mber+ following your registration to the Aussie Hoops program. Players need to wear the Aussie Hoops reversible singlet and appropriate sporting footwear to each session.

 

What to Bring: We expect players to bring their Aussie Hoops basketball and a water bottle each week.
